Sara Vanderieck joins international panel on culture and conflict

We are pleased to share that dramaturg Sara Vanderieck recently took part in the online panel discussion “Sustaining Culture During Past and Current Conflicts – Part III”, hosted by OneShared.World.

This international panel brought together artists and cultural leaders to explore the power of the arts in times of crisis and conflict. How do cultural practices survive amidst destruction? And how can they foster dialogue, resistance, and healing?

Alongside Sara Vanderieck, the panel featured Jacqueline Davis (introduction – Chair of Arts and Culture at OneShared.World and member of the NYU Brademas Center Council, USA), Lara Foot (panelist – playwright, director, and artistic director of the Baxter Theatre, Cape Town, South Africa), Maya Zbib (panelist – director, performer, and co-founder of Zoukak Theatre, Beirut, Lebanon), and Christopher Hibma (moderator – expert in international cultural collaboration, USA).
